Our hands-on marimba training is rooted in Zimbabwean traditions while embracing contemporary performance practice. Students learn rhythm, teamwork, listening, cultural history, and stage presence.
Izwi Lethu offers interactive marimba workshops for schools, community centres, and cultural organizations across Edmonton and Alberta. Our sessions are rooted in authentic Zimbabwean musical traditions and designed to be engaging, accessible, and hands-on. Participants do not just watch the music, they play it together. Through rhythm, movement, and collaboration, students build confidence, cultural understanding, and a strong sense of community.
Ngorimba offers professional African music performances for schools, cultural celebrations, festivals across Edmonton and Alberta, corporate events, galas, and community gatherings. Performances are available as a solo marimba set, a duo or trio, or a full electric band depending on the scale of your event. From classrooms to main stages, Ngorimba brings the energy and rhythm of Zimbabwean music into contemporary performance spaces, creating an experience that is vibrant, engaging, and unforgettable.
